Christina Carlyle, better known as Tink, is a member of the Descendants. Her nickname comes from both her love for gadgeteering and the fact that she played Tinkerbell from Peter Pan in her freshman year. She has been going out with Warrick Kaine since Descendants #15. She officially became a member of the Descendants in Descendants #62. Her prelate identity is Renaissance.
Tink is an expert gadgeteer, and attends Cambridge University in England. She is still active in Mayfield as a prelate using the mirror portal system set up by Occult to return when needed.
Powers and Abilities[]
Tink is one of the two members of the Descendants who isn't actually a descendant (along with Occult). Instead, her powers come from accidentally being infected with nanites from Metal X and the Whitecoat. The nanites replaced the nerve cluster Metal X shot, with the help of Melissa's healing, giving Tink super strength and quickened healing.
Asides from her powers Tink's main ability is her gadgeteering and quick thinking. The gauntlets she designed, for example, are entirely mechanical, and she can swap out different type of projectiles and on-board devices.
Devices seen used in her gauntlets include:
- Expanding polyurethane foam pellets that explode into a sticky, expanding material to incapacitate enemies.
- A grappling hook gun that fires both grapnels and spear-tipped pitons that trail lines. (swaps out with the pellet launcher)
- A taser that extends from the knuckles.
- An on-board palmtop computer.
